Stop the Bleed®

Uncontrolled bleeding is a leading cause of preventable death in trauma situations. The Stop the Bleed program, developed by the American College of Surgeons, teaches everyday citizens how to control life-threatening bleeding until professional medical help arrives.

Dells-Delton EMS is proud to offer official Stop the Bleed training to individuals, families, businesses, schools, churches, and community groups throughout the Wisconsin Dells, Lake Delton, and Sauk County area.

What You Will Learn

Our hands-on Stop the Bleed courses cover essential skills, including:

  • How to recognize life-threatening bleeding
  • Direct pressure techniques
  • Proper use of tourniquets
  • Wound packing
  • Use of hemostatic dressings
  • Scene safety and when to call 911

All participants receive a certificate of completion and access to high-quality training materials.
