Dells-Delton EMS offers Paramedic level interfacility transport services to area hospitals.  We are able to provide for transportation and care enroute to patients from community hospitals to larger facilities within Wisconsin for specialized care or additional treatments.

Our transfer ambulances are supplied with all of our standard equipment including a 4/12-lead monitor, a defibrillator capable of synchronized cardioversion and pacing, intubation and other basic and advanced airway management equipment, CPAP, intravenous and intraosseous access and infusion, and our full line of protocol based medications.  The transfer ambulances also have 3-channel IV pumps and ventilators with PEEP.  We are able to take most medications that are ordered for the patient, including antibiotics, antiarrhythmics, and blood products.  If the medication is not one that we normally carry, it will need to be provided to the transfer crew.  We are able to administer medications that we carry based upon our protocols or written orders provided by the sending physician.  Written orders will need to be prepared for medications that we do not currently carry by protocol.

We have ambulances staffed in-house on a 24/7/365 basis, and are able to have an ambulance on its way to your hospital immediately after receiving your call.  We utilize a numeric pager for dispatching our transfers.  The pager can be accessed by calling 800-263-5984.  Just leave your call-back number, and we will return your call shortly.

We ask that on our arrival at your facility, you have the following paperwork prepared:

  • Physician Certification Form (PCS)
  • Patient’s consent for transfer
  • Patient face sheet
  • Written orders (if any)
  • Copies of any relevant lab tests/other pertinent information regarding patient condition

If you have any questions about the services that we offer, feel free to contact us during normal business hours at 608-254-2159.  We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

We look forward to serving your facility’s patient transport needs.
